Billie Piper's trip to the Torchwood premiere has made the actress yearn for more sci-fi roles.
After watching the first episode of the new BBC 3 series in Cardiff, Piper said: "Seeing Torchwood made me scream ‘I wanna do that’," according to The Sun.
The actress left her role as Rose Tyler on Doctor Who after two highly successful series, starring alongside both Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant. Commenting on her replacement as a companion by Freema Agyeman, Piper joked: "It sounds like the Doctor’s on the rebound now I’ve gone."
