Philip Glenister has revealed that he experienced an awkward moment while shooting tonight's episode of Ashes To Ashes.
The actor, who plays DCI Gene Hunt in the Life On Mars spinoff, said filming had to be halted during a scene involving a group of naked men.
He is quoted as saying: "There they were, starkers, cupping themselves, and one of them became slightly aroused.
"It was completely involuntary of course and we had to stop filming until things settled down."
Glenister is currently shooting a new primetime series based on Dracula for ITV.
Ashes To Ashes continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One.
