lucky for me that i have the episode ahead of this, yes gretchen is a twist what sets me thinking is that why cant she be good after what she went through in the hand of tht generals' people. heart cold as ice? oh im sure there is still kindness in her after all. but please dont do more harm to michael otherwise its the end of the show. but keep going you still have the filipino people glued on their sit during your airing time. lucky for me i got an advance copy from my resources. i really love your series. that what keeps me going.

I've just started watching PB. My Aunt told me about the show when it first Premiered the First Series. It took me until Season Four to get into renting Series 1-3. I must say I really enjoy the show. I hope it continues into Season 5 and future years. But, the Sara Return Thing really wasn't necessary. Gretchen's Great. She's a very Good Bad character

Most people hated Season 3 but I loved it, however Season 4 just keeps getting worse. T-Bag is the only thing keeping me watching at the moment. Bring back Whistler!

Just remember that if this goes a whole season they have 22/23 episodes. They're on episode 5 and already have most of the cards. So it either goes one of two ways - getting the last few cards gets harder now they have to be kept on the card holders at all times, or that actually makes it easier, and by episode 8, we're on to finding out what scylla is, and how theyre gonna break in. And T-Bag will be back with the team sooner or later, along with his bird book... However, I said after the first episode that this should be the last season - either they get the job done and wind up free, or they die trying. Either way, it's time to wrap it up. My main fear is that they'll end this season on a high, and will try to get another season out of it in order to pass the 100 episodes usually required for (US) domestic syndication...

Are you kidding; season 4 is great. I thought season 3 the worst and season 2 the best. The current episodes are gripping, fast paced and exciting entertainment. I can't wait for the next episodes.

Fair review. Again. One thing that has destroyed Prison Break from Season 2 onwards is contractual obligation. Bringing back the bulk of the main characters from Season one, year after year after year is woeful. Bellick (sp)? What on earth is this guy doing with these criminals? He used to be a Prison Guard didn't he? The big bad prison guard who everyone hated and almost thwarted the inevitable escape. Now he is some sort of Mr Soft who just seems to moan and whinge every episode. I'm sure there is a reason for him being there but I can't for the life of me remember and just wish he would go home to his mommy.

are u people mad! The first series, awesome action, multi-layered plot lines, gripping characters! 2nd series, will they make it?, what about El Jay?, Mahone's gettin closer! 3rd series, repetitive from 1st. 4th series drawn out and not really worth caring about now. This is the sad decline of a truly enthralling 1st series. Whole show is just looking to stay in a job now!!!!

And it looked like it was going to be so good. The first series was good because there was always a chance that it wasn't going to work. So far, we've seen them get every card they've found. Yawn. But there are several saving graces for this show: 1) The actors. There isn't an untalented person i the cast. 2) This clearly can't be it. They got picked up for a full season: 22 episodes. Which must mean that they can't keep getting cards at this rate or the season would be over in 6 (plus the season opener when we found out about Scylla) episodes. Sara and Mahone are disintigrating, Michael has a brain injury or similar that he's lying to Sara about, the chronically underused Jodi Lyn O'Keefe will have a major arc with her sister, who will appear in more than one episode and the also chronically underused Marshall Allman must make an appearance to keep Lincoln in the game.

Ben Rawson-Jones, you must have something against Prison Break. Ep 5 was a good episode by anyones staderd. Ive been a fan of the show since the first episode and that was just as good as series' one and two. Two stars is shocking and some of the points you raise were just madness. Im the first to slag the show of if its not good. But last nights was.
alistair on September 24th, 2008
the show is still amazin and the stories are fresh and not predictive or repetitive, the only repetitive part of the story is the fact that they have to copy the data from each card, however the way that they get to the cards are all unique and exciting. if the show was given its proper credit then it will be on the air for at least as long as lost will be, as i rank them as being both similar in excitment and cleverness. Prison Break is awsome full stop.
Ash, Lancashire on September 24th, 2008
I think its a bit obvious why the ratings are down, they went down ever since the show moved to Sky 1. It would have had great ratings on Five all the way through. They shouldn't have moved in the first place, it was a stupid decision by Five to let Sky win the bidding. And now Prison Break might not last because of that, even though it is a spectacular series. I will keep watching, its fantastic!

I think the show will definitely improve over the season, and we'll see characters like Gretchen being used to better effect. If you look at a TV Season like a film, then right now we're only about twenty minutes into it. There is still plenty of time for it to turn around. It's fair to say that this episode was a little weaker than the previous ones, but the only reason the later episodes work so well is because the foundations for the plot are set in the earliest episodes. Anyone who has followed this show from the beginning knows it can improve and become quite exciting as it approaches the end of each run, so don't prepare those bullets quite yet. I'm writing this following the story that it might be "axed" soon, but at least if they axe it then the writers will be able to give it a cracking ending.

The show is brilliant and only a true fan can appreciate where the writers have taken us from Season 1 to date. Give a little credit to the writers, the best is yet to come.

I think the show is great
Greg, Wales on September 23rd, 2008
Agree with your review this time, the episode was very poor and its becoming repetitive, but i believe with T-bag's storyline starting to intertwine with the main plot, Gretchen escaping, and the brilliant William Fichtner holding the show together, I still believe this season may turn around. Final Thought: Prison Break needs to get its act together ASAP!!!
