Wow, of all the shows out there that SHOULD be cancelled, I don't think PB is one. To list just a few on FOX- Bones (boring and tired), House (SSDD - same s*** different disease, add a wisecracking lonely doctor and stir), 24 (one man saves the world in 24 hours - 6 seasons later, how's that for a stretch of credibility?), Terminator (just lame). I won't even get started on the cheesy game shows and reality crap... How's about writing something on one of these? As a fan of the PB universe, I'm kind of tired of hearing every season 'the show's gonna get cancelled'. This season has been very entertaining, intense, and I still believe the characters are getting great treatment and depth added. Who would have thought Bellick would be sacrificing himself for a bunch of cons? Mahone as one of the good guys? The depth being added to the Company and in particular, the General: I've found it all to be very involving. All these twists and character developments keep the show fresh and unpredictable. For those of us who have been into this show since the beginning, it just keeps getting deeper and better. I don't see why it should end now.

I have watched every show. I was being interviewed to be on jury duty and the defense attorney asked what was my favorite show? I answered, "Prison Break." He laughed. I was put on the jury. I love PB.

This review is so wrong! Prison Break has done so well to keep up the drama and tension. I find the characters just get more interesting because they are having to deal with more and more issues from their pasts and as situations constantly force them to have to act against their natural instincts. I find Michael as compelling as ever, Tbag absolutely hilarious [still pulling off the fake identity thing], I'm glad Sara is back [although yes the plot is stretched there] But the thing is that Prison Break was never meant to be a utterly grounded, realistic portrayal of life - its premise was always based on a seeming impossible, wildly crazy series of events coming together for them to escape in S1 and itsgone on from there so YES it does need you to suspend disbelief but it is still an amazing show

I really think, the show is nice especially after I sat down to watch season 1-4. Sarah actually had a vital role to play which was signified by the key from her dead father and so,since she was not 1 of the company she could not die after having a vital information. The show is really nice and every one was important.

the first season was the only season that was great. The second season was ok but this season has been awful. I stopped watching after 3 episodes. Its turning into the A Team with their "missions".

Very GREAT article nicely written!.The show stinks now and it's because of SWC returned. The real fault here is the dumb PB people who brought her back the show is waay boring with her in it and it's a total joke now!Very unwatchable this season and so dull I stopped watching.
Darren, Nottingham on October 6th, 2008
This season of Prison Break is the best since the first, it would be a disgrace if it was cancelled
Sarah, Alberta, Canada on October 6th, 2008
I still find Prison Break a very interesting show. I've watched it since it began and I think they're handling it well. The only complaint I have is when they brought Sara Tancredi back. I was so incredibly happy to see her go last season because she just seems to hinder the show. Michael and her have next to no chemistry and he seems a more effective character when she's not around.... I'll agree there needs to be more T-Bag though...fascinating one he is :)

This guy could't be more wrong..... I was a late watcher with Prison Break. I had to buy them on DVD so i could watch them all and catch up, which i have finally done. I could watch it 20 times over. I think it is a fantastic show and the acting the actors do is fantastic. I think the writers are also doing a good job. Everyone said last season was bad and they used the writers strike as the reason but i think last season was it's best yet.... I hope its around for many more seasons.
Jim, Leeds on October 6th, 2008
The writer of this article couldn.t be more wrong. This is still the greatest show on TV and the author of this thinks he is being clever but is just spoiling it for everyone. If you are such a genius write a show yourself instead of poor innacurate articles for this site. That is all
Amy, London on October 5th, 2008
Disagree entirely! Prison Break is an amazingly captivating television show which has me hooked and on the edge of my seat every week. Fair enough, the storyline each week is fairly predictable - will they get the card in time? But the in-between sections, especially anything including Mahone, is always great and Gretchen (or whoever she is) provides an extra excitement. Michael & Lincoln need to shake things up a bit and they could do so much more with Sara but overall top show - they'd be fools so cancel it now.

This continues to be one of the most engaging and fun shows on tv. I hope it doesn't get canceled !

David, Durham on October 5th, 2008
I think Digital Spy have it in for Prison Break!
Andrew, Durham on October 5th, 2008
I also do not agree with this article, the storylines, characters and plot twists are still fantastic to watch and as Jeff from Newcastle said, the storylines have just changed direction, as they have in previous seasons and that's the shows strength. Hopefully, we'll get at least another couple of seasons before they pull the plug.
Lily, London on October 5th, 2008
I think Prison Break has been suffering latley. This season has been a complete let down. I am a huge fan but recently i haven't been looking forward to the episodes. They are boring, lacking in suspense and completely lack continunity - what has happened to L.J and Sofia? Surley, the companies best chance to find Michael and Lincon is to once again capture his son?! The narratives are just not what they used to be and i couldn't agree more with the above article. I just hope Prison Break can get it back and please get rid of Sara - for real this time.
Jeff, Newcastle on October 5th, 2008
Arghh!! Prison Break has not got worse it has just changed and thats its strength. Every season is completly different in some way but the characters stay the same. Im a big fan of serial drama's but nothing, I mean nothing can beat Prison Break. Before, I didn't bat a eye lid at prison drama's but this one is on another level. I'd say world class.
patrick sunderland on October 5th, 2008
prison break rules and if people cant see the great stroy telling in this show then they should go and find something else to do, prison break is one of my all time fav shows, id be more than happy to see it run another few seasons
Jamie,Cheltenham on October 5th, 2008
I disagree with this article prison break is an amazing show and i dont think that it will ever be past its "sell by date" i do think tho that they should make the new series more on the edge like the first series but it is still an amazing programme .
Char, London on October 5th, 2008
I get so annoyed when I see negative aricles about Prison Break. Prison Break is by far the best programme I have ever seen in my 20 years of living. Every episode has me on the edge of my seat and all the characters have a part to play in the show, they are all unique characters and that is what gives the show its appeal. I just hope that Prison Break finishes on a high with a believable and all lose ends tied ending. I don't want producers to see these sort of negative articles and decide to axe it based on that. Prison Break could still have 2 more series if they play it right.
Sam, Leicester on October 5th, 2008
This article is merely jumping on the bandwagon of attacking shows past their first tor three seasons. "It's lost it's spark" is the general essage portrayed. But NO it hasn't. It'sust nonew anymore. There is a difference. The show still has me 100% hooked, and I guess I am one of the only people who thnks the show has goten better year on year. Each season has been better than the last. I do agree, however, that maybe Sara should have stayed in a box, but nevermind. I really like the focus on Mahone this year, having the group all together, working to one big cause, even if T-bag doesn't know it yet. And if there is one thing that Wyatt isn't, it's bumbling. He is a very evil charactr with great sreen prescence, even if he does over do the squint in his eye for the evil shot at the camera. As long as the writers of the show keep going as well as this, they will have me as a very happy viewer.
Gerard Glasgow on October 5th, 2008
Totally disagree with this artical, what a pathetic view which is wrong on many levels, I can agree with the bad use of its characters, however it has turned into a 24-stlye show and is still amazing. This show has progressed to a new level and i believe the viewers have grown with it.
Sarah, London on October 5th, 2008
It breaks my heart to agree, given that Prison Break is my No 1 favourite show. However, Michael has become slightly less interesting, Roland is just annoying and should have been gotten rid of the second they got their hands n his device. I do have to disagree, however, about Sara. One of the most stupid things FOX ever did was to not giver Sarah Wayne Callies whatever she wanted when her contract was up for renewal. Her temporary departure from the show just about killed it, because people were no longer willing to put up with substandard stories after Michael's lady-love had departed. She was - and now is again - a fantastic character, a label I would only give to one other character, the (Iwishitweren'tso) deceased Agent Kellerman, played perfectly by Paul Adelstein. Unfortunately, this show is looking more and more likely to be cancelled, as the spookily accurate tvbythenumbers.com has predicted its demise. Somebody do something, instead of watching as your show becomes more of the same!
Emma, East MIDLANDS on October 5th, 2008
I do not agree with this article, I am totally hooked to prison break, i like the fact each series is based in a different place with different agenda. I think schofield and burrows with gretchen in tow make it even better. I will always enjoy prison break, nice change to samey soaps, hospital dramas and boring detective show.
Ash, London on October 5th, 2008
I agree with some of the points! It has made me realize how brilliiant season 1 was. I still enjoyed 2-4 but haven't been as gripped as I was with season one. I'd hate to see this show axed as I love it. But I know that this is the type of show that needs wrapping up sooner rather than later, so it isn't dragged out to long. I disagree with the sara thing. I think her comeback was done to the best ability after producers realizing it was a mistake to kill her off. Unless the whole story was always planned whilst she took maternity leave. Actually I'm pretty sure it was always planned for her to return as she did alot of promo for season 3. Anyway this season isn't to bad. I'm actually really enjoying it :)
bruno, stoke on October 5th, 2008
i totally disagree with this article i cant see why its getting so slagged off i still think the episodes are as could as they always have been putting you on the edge not knowing what to expect, And unfortunetly with articles like this this is whats going to get the show axed and i hope to god it doesnt i want it to end when it should end not been axed off even though you all say you dont lke it much anymore pretty sure you would all want to know what would of happened in the end say if they axed it from this very episode not knowing what would happen with gretchen and tbag, with mahone n wyatt OR WHAT THE COMPANY IS ABOUT WHAT IS SCYLLA ITS STUFF WE NEED TO KNOW!!! and be able to watch!
Lewis Hemel Hempstead on October 5th, 2008
This article name is a little misleading.. Says its about assasinations, no it isn't. It's the writers excuse to have a moan about Prison Break. Yes the show has changed format from its glory days, it does not mean its bad, just different. I do admit that the card episodes are getting samey, but I still have faith, and after the most recent episode im loving Prison Break once again.
Peter, Cheshire on October 5th, 2008
I agree with the article. The plots are so contrived that I'm even struggling to remember why they are searching for those damm cards. Great characters like Mahone and T Bag are just not as good as they used to be. Lincoln has basically been reduced to hired muscle and Michael, poor Michael, even he looks totally fed up. As much as it saddens me its time for PB to end for good.
Seaneeboy, Leeds on October 5th, 2008
Ouch! Cyncial much? When a show goes bad, how often can it recover, especially 3 or 4 seasons in? I think PB has done a great job of turning itself around, re-inventing itself (as you've said yourself the premise of the first two series is untenable as a long term prospect) with the potential to turn into a more episodic show. I doubt PB will ever do enough to redeem Ben's too-high-hopes, and it's a shame because what with all the cynicism about, this probably will be the last series. Just as it's turning things around, the calls like this pretty much secure it's future... but recovering Prison Break is much better than no Prison Break!
Luke, Sheffield on October 5th, 2008
I disagree, Prison break is and always will be one of , if not the best programme on TV. There is no show like it on TV and i would think its fans should be a bit more loyal to the show, and trust that the writers will provide us with great storylines just as they always have
