Prison Break star Dominic Purcell has revealed that none of the characters in the hit show is safe from the axe.
Purcell, who plays Lincoln Burrows, said: "[I am] contracted to the show for seven years, but if I p**s the writers off or they get bored of a storyline, they can quite easily say 'let's get rid of Lincoln'. That's certainly a possibility, especially in today's TV climate."
Prison Break is renowned for shock plot twists, such as the unexpected murder of female lead Veronica at the beginning of the second season.
Purcell claimed that this trend will continue: "You can expect to see favourite characters being eliminated as the series progresses. The writers and the creators have made it clear from the beginning that the only people guaranteed of roles are Michael and Lincoln, but maybe that could change."
Prison Break returns to Sky One on Monday, January 28 at 10pm.
