Absolutely fantastic. I loved seeing Rose and the crew come to help the Dr. David Tennant is my favorite of the New Who's. The sophisitcation of the graphics and effects for TV are really amazing. They couple that with great plots and an emotional ride (I actually care about the characters) this has become somethign I purposely tune in to on TV.

OMG what an end of series was in tiers at the end do not know who to feel more sorry for but it will always be with THE DR. Can not think of an episode like that that will have all that history there again as in people AT 45 have watch Dr Who for many a year but have to say love David Tennent he can just do any fellings that have to be showen what am actor imo x would give it 10/5 if i could x

Just rewatched the amazing The stolen Earth and wondered if anyone else noticed that just before the regeneration scene when the Doctors talking he says, “I’m sorry. It’s too late… i’m regenerated.” Not i’m regenerating, but regenerated, wonder if that could be significant for tomorrow nights episode

Have to say the cliffhanger was what made it a 5 out 5. (of course this coming from a long time DW fan lol) Haven't a seen a cliffhanger like that since when Goth was attempting to drown the Doctor in "Genesis of the Daleks" The Earth being moved and hints of Dalek Invasion of Earth, and Trial of a Time Lord. Finally getting to see the Shadow Proximation and how the Doctor was thrown about the Medusa Cascade.

The epitome of suck. The episode opens well, with a suspenseful set-up of the Earth being.... stolen. There are too many reaction shots and too much "Look at the sky!", but still this is pretty effective. But then it goes horribly wrong. The Doctor spends ten minutes going to the Shadow Proclaimation----- just so he can deliver a bit of exposition. Then we get a twenty minute video conference which exists solely to allow Harriet Jones to deliver her stupid little "Harriet Jones, former PM" joke four times in quick succession. It stopped being funny two season ago. And it wasn't that funny to start with. The only emotion I felt when she died was a feeling of relief that I would never again have to hear that stupid joke. Anyway, after the boring videoconference that was needed to solve a plot contrivance that didn't need to exist, the cross-over characters finally perform some bad technobabble that allow them to achieve the awesome feat of....... meeting the Doctor. Basically this is forty minutes of story about getting more bars on their mobiles so they can arrange to meet up with the Doctor. Then the Daleks show up. The (yawn) Daleks. The (zzzzzzz) Daleks. Weren't they completely destroyed four or five times already in this series?

Donna Noble turns left and saves the Doctor from regenerating however, briefly, you will find that the budding and excellent actor Mr Troughton grandson of the 2nd Doctor is the new Doctor.
julia,rotherham,july 2nd 2008 on July 2nd, 2008
This was the most exciting episode ever i cant stop watching it ! RTD has definately saved the best till last ! I cant wait for the final episode will i be in tears as usual i expect so.

In response to the issue of his regenerations, remember that between his 12th and 13th regenerations he becomes the Valeyard...which would be a cool idea to explore in the future!
Steve, Sevenoaks on July 2nd, 2008
Blown away by this episode as a 35 year old Tom Baker weened fan I remember Sarah Jane first time round. But to a have a Marvel / DC team up and then pile on the cheery with Davros -- wooooo. But did I spot the get out clause - Didn't the Shadow Proclomation helper when talking to Donna look over at her back and refer to Donna's beetle thing from turn left?
Adam, Wales on July 1st, 2008
Everyone ran around not doing anything, nothing happened and anyone who doesn't watch the spinoff shows (like me) had absolutely no idea who anyone was. If Bernard Cribbins hadn't been in it then it would be 1 star.
Rod , Newhaven on July 1st, 2008
Lots of plot threads coming together and throwing lots of plot pieces in all directions. No very coherent but the very chaos of it was the essence of Who-lore. So if Donna still has the time beetle, then she can change time somehwere earlier so the present doesnt happen ... turn right but later. Too obvious?? (so Rose and the Doctor dont meet after all). ...and I think Rose is slightly less chav and more collected. She, along with Captain Jack, are sporting some mighty big pieces of serious anti-Dalek hardware. Of course River Song has to meet the Doctor for the first time ... but she also knowns the doctor can regenerate ... and it wasnt "her" doctor. So clearly the doctor doesnt die. Saturday will be here soon enough ... or will it?
Mike, Philly on July 1st, 2008
Early in the episode, was Donna hearing the drums?
jonathan hull on July 1st, 2008
WOW! Superb Doctor Who. The BBC at its best.
Mike, Phoenix Arizona on July 1st, 2008
In a word.... WOW. After watching the teaser at the end of last weeks episode I thought I was prepared, but I never saw the ending coming. Fantastic job Mr. Davies and crew.
Lucy London on July 1st, 2008
It was a really awesome episode and I cannot wait for next weeks. It was also really funny. Did anybody else LMAO when Wilf paintballed the dalek and it replied "My vision is NOT impaired!"?
becky london on July 1st, 2008
ahhhh. Just got it. So if Donna still has the thing on her back, she's gonna get to change time again, and go back and take the Dalek death ray herself. Or something along those lines. I reckon. Maybe. Cos David Tennant ain't leaving quite yet... is he?
andrew, cardiff on June 30th, 2008
wow just wow, these last two weeks have been the greatest two weeks in dr who history. RTD is oging out with one hell of a bang

Best doctor who episode ever from capt jack to sarah jane and to martha those scences were great but when the doctor and rose were finally reunited........but cruely ruined by a dalek killing the dopctor i mean i dodnt expect tenant to leave the role thought he would do those 3 specials next then leave but still a great cliffhanger none bigger then who the next doctor will be my moneys on either james nesbitt or that guy from robin hood who was rumoured to being the next doctor

Steve (Elan_Vital) on June 30th, 2008
The Ex-Prime Minister? Yes... We know who you are... ;-) Some stunning scenes in this episode, especially the galaxy backdrop and the space station of the 'shadow proclamation'. (I think RTD has been running some B5 tapes again...) Full marks to RTD and the team for keeping faithfully to the canon of the Dalek history - One could see the 'genetic engineering' by Davros of the Kaled in Dalek Caan with vestigial features of the second eye and other facial features. Well done the model makers! I am annoyed that apart from the Library episode, American telephones and ringtones seemed to have invaded the Tardis and Torchwood. Its a minor thing but destroyed the absorption I was wrapped up in. It's British SciFi thank you very much! Burr!-Burr!.....Burr!-Burr!

This was an awesome episode best to date, i was on the edge of my seat the hole time, ive bin waiting for roses return & rtd did not disappoint. The daleks never scared me when growing up but davros did hes creepy loved what he did with his chest. tenant must still be the doctor as he is the reason we arnt having a full season next year, as he wants to do hamlet. cant wait till the next episode counting down the days.
Adam, Staffordshire on June 30th, 2008
It was FANTASTIC!! I loved how all the spinoffs got a part in it. I can't wait till next week!
Rich, Wolverhampton on June 30th, 2008
The 3 most annoying words in TV history. TO BE CONTINUED!!! So frustrating that this brilliant episode had to end at all. Thought SJA and Torchwood were involved brilliantly. Well Done RTD. Dont let us down next week!!
James Henderson, London. on June 30th, 2008
The best episode ever! It was the best I have seen and Ive seen all the new and old ones.
alexander goldberg Durham on June 30th, 2008
nah nah. Ahem. I love the way almost every review in here says it's awesome, but there are a few whiners who complain'it doesn't have a plot' or 'It had to many flashy effects' this was an awesome episode, bringing a classic enemy back and succesfully combining what looked like half the series budget with an epic storyline. Yes, some things wern't explained properly, but it's a two parter!
Fay, Norwich on June 30th, 2008
Amazing!

In Davros' last TV appearance I winced at the "unlimited rice pudding" bit. Twenty years later and I winced through all but a few seconds of it. Lowest Common Denominator JUNK
Captain Caveman on June 30th, 2008
What a load of old toot that was. Everything and the kitchen sink thrown in for the fanboys to lap up. All of it to showcase Russell Davies "legacy" and ego. Shameful.
Sean London on June 30th, 2008
Watched it several times - worthy of the big screen...I think everyone is deaf around here --- the woman says there used to be something on Donna's back and that she is something new...the sound of drums
Jill, Warwickshire on June 30th, 2008
An amazing episode. I've suddenly become completely addicted and want to know what happens next NOW! Catherine Tate has been a real revelation and her subtle acting in this episode was amazing. As a previous detractor, I’m now actually worried that she may be leaving next week. However, roll on next week!
Karen, Blackpool on June 30th, 2008
Helen in Barnsley - the Doctor still has three more lives, as he can re-generate 13 times. I agree with what others have said though, Saturdays episode was fantastic and I wait with baited breath for this weeks final installment. Only trouble is, we have to wait until 2010 for the next series
Mike S, Christchurch on June 30th, 2008
Brilliant! My kids were so disappointed at the end - They wanted more and so did I! A thought for the next episode - I am certain that somebody will have a "hand" in his regeneration (After all it has been in every Tardis interior shot since he got it back from Captain Jack!)
Simon Taylor on June 30th, 2008
Brilliant Scary,Behind the sofa if i had one i would of hid,i was glue to the tv didnt want to miss a thing.
