Gates: 'Holly Willoughby looks hot'

Gareth Gates has defended Dancing On Ice host Holly Willoughby after she was criticised for wearing low-cut dresses.

Gates, who was knocked out of the ITV1 show in Sunday's semi-final, said the presenter should show off her figure.

He told Star magazine. "I've known Holly for years. She's one of my good friends. I think she looks absolutely amazing. She looks hot! If you have a nice pair, why not show them?"

However, he admitted that he was "more about the bum", saying: "I preferred Holly's backless dress!"

Gates added that he was considering singing in church when he weds dancer Suzanne Mole this summer.

Dancing On Ice concludes this Sunday at 7pm on ITV1.
