
The singer missed out on a place in the final after losing to Coronation Street star Zaraah Abrahams in the skate-off.
He displayed a purple sequined undergarment with his name printed in rhinestones during an appearance on GMTV, which he later revealed had been a leaving present.
He told presenter Fiona Philips: "I'd never worn a jockstrap before and now I'm out of the show I hope I'll never have to wear another one. I don't know what happened but they let me down at the last hurdle.
"I must admit they looked amazing when they were on but were the most uncomfortable thing I have ever worn - incredibly painful as I was performing on the ice."
The 23-year-old added that he was proud of his achievements on the ITV1 show, saying: "I felt I had a harder journey than some of the other contestants because they'd skated or had dance training and I hadn't been on skates before."
Dancing On Ice concludes this Sunday at 7pm on ITV1.
