'Ice' stars grateful for celeb support

The Dancing On Ice finalists have revealed they are thankful for the support received from their celebrity friends.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of Sunday's final, actress Zaraah Abrahams said: "I've received lots of support from people from Coronation Street.

"They've rung me constantly throughout the show telling me how well I'm doing, to keep going. They've come down to support me – whether they're celebs or not they're just friends and family and it's been great."

Soap star Chris Fountain admitted he is inundated with text messages after he performs on the ITV reality show.

"I've had a lot of support from the Hollyoaks cast," Fountain said. "After every show you go back to your phone and you've got 52 messages and it's people you've not spoken to for ages and people you see every day," Fountain said. "Any support from anybody is a real good thing."

Suzanne Shaw revealed she has received support from a former Hear'Say bandmate.

"I don't have any celebrity friends," laughed Shaw. "[But] Myleene's called me loads of times!"

The Dancing On Ice final airs this Sunday on ITV1 at 7pm.
