Fountain plays down chances of 'Ice' victory

Dancing On Ice finalist Chris Fountain has revealed he isn't thinking about winning the ITV reality show.

Fountain is favourite to take top spot when he faces off against Suzanne Shaw and Zaraah Abrahams on Sunday's Dancing On Ice final.

"I'm trying to not think about being the favourite or who's going to win," Fountain said at the finalists' press conference.

The actor claimed that he and the other contestants are proud of reaching the final.

"At the end of the day I'm not going to get to do the final of Dancing On Ice ever again. So rather than worry about who's the favourite and who's going to win, we've just got to go there and enjoy it as much as we can."

Fountain admitted he had already fulfilled his ambition by reaching the last three.

"I didn't want to get voted out halfway through and watch it on TV and be like, 'I wish I was still there. I wish I was there on the ice'."

The Hollyoaks star added: "To win it would be a bonus but it's still been a dream come true to get there."
