Gareth Gates: 'I'm ripped at the minute'

Gareth Gates has claimed that his body is "ripped" after competing on Dancing On Ice.

The singer said that his newly toned body had been a hit with his fiancée Suzanne Mole, but admitted he hadn't been to the gym since being voted off the show in the semi-final.

He is quoted as saying: "I'm ripped at the minute. Skating is like a little work-out and I'm nicely muscular now. My fiancée loves it.

"I was going to the gym and got really addicted to it. I did look massive, though, and didn't really like it. I haven't really been to the gym since."

However, Gates also confessed that despite his new figure, the skin-tight Lycra outfits he wore on the show had been a turn-off for his partner.

"Far from saying I looked sexy in the outfits she and my mates would always tease me for the way I looked," he commented.
