Salmon: 'Todd Carty is an inspiration'

Zoe Salmon has said that Todd Carty's performances on Dancing On Ice are an "inspiration" to the public.

Carty has struggled on the ice so far, only scoring 7.5 from the judges on last week's show. However, fellow contestant Salmon claimed that the former soap star may end up surprising people with his skating skills, arguing that he could end up "better" than Ray Quinn over time.

"He is an inspiration," she told The Sun. "Honestly, the amount of people watching it at home that maybe want to give ice dancing a go and they think, 'Oh no, I might not be any good at it...' Todd is there to say give it a go.

"And he may end up as good as, if not better than, Ray [Quinn]. We just can't foretell anyone's journey and their potential."
