MacIntyre: 'I'm looking like a Dodo'

Donal MacIntyre has claimed that he will look like a "Dodo" on this week's Dancing On Ice.

The investigative reporter said that he does not rate his chances of triumphing in Sunday's final, admitting that he is struggling with the flying elements.

"My chances of winning are very poor," he told Digital Spy. "The best dancer is clearly Ray. The best skater, I think, is Jessica.

"If the audience decide that they want to vote for who they feel sorry for, or if they quite like my Dodo impression, then I may get through to the Bolero."

Speaking about his routine, he added: "I'm flying like a Zeppelin as you would expect. All the blogs have been saying it and I think Jason said, 'We don't expect Donal to be graceful in the air', and I can safely say, I won't disappoint.

"I'm a foil to Jessica's beauty and elegance and Ray's grace... I feel like Jeremy Paxman going on a date with Jordan. I don't fit into this world."

The Dancing On Ice final airs on Sunday at 6:55pm on ITV1.
