Heather Mills 'may quit Dancing On Ice'

Heather Mills may pull out of Dancing On Ice because training for the show has left her in agony, a report has claimed.

The former model has allegedly told show bosses that she is suffering from severe pain in the remaining part of her amputated leg.

It is thought that Mills has been practising her ice dancing skills for the past three weeks. She previously competed on US reality show Dancing With The Stars in 2007.

An insider told The Sun: "Ice skating is much more demanding. Heather is suffering a lot of pain."

Mills, who lost her left leg in 1993, opened up about her training struggles last week after Daily Mail journalist Amanda Platell accused her of using her prosthetic limb for sympathy.

Writing on her Twitter page, Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife said: "If the lazy woman did her homework, she would understand how near impossible it is to skate with one limb to raise money for a needy charity programme."

Dancing On Ice is expected to return to ITV1 in January.
