Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner has described Greg Rusedski as "a lost cause".

The choreographer complained about voters who phoned up to save the former tennis player last weekend, insisting that eliminated contestant Natalie Pinkham was much more deserving of a place in the contest.

"We lost Natalie Pinkham last week because the public voted for Herman Munster instead," Jason explained in his Mirror column. "The guy has no rhythm, no ability and no clue about physical artistry. I'd hate to see him having sex."

Gardiner also hit out at Samantha Mumba, revealing that the singer had not come close to matching his expectations.

"I thought she'd wipe the floor with the rest of the competition," he said. "Yes, she looks fabulous... when she stands still. Her facial expression suggests she's disinterested - I hope it's just down to nerves."
