Fountain injured in 'Ice' rehearsals

Hollyoaks star Chris Fountain has been offered some unusual medical advice after being injured in rehearsals for Dancing On Ice.

The actor, who plays Justin Burton in the soap, damaged his coccyx - a small bone at the base of the spine - while preparing for his first routine with dance partner Frankie Poultney.

"I dropped Frankie but I let her fall on top of me," Chris told the Daily Star. "I damaged my coccyx. Our physio said I have to put a golf ball between my bum cheeks. Apparently it's the best exercise to get over the injury."

Dancing On Ice begins on Sunday at 5.50pm on ITV1.
