The Wrestling Channel will launch as a standalone channel in March, it has been confirmed.
The station - which ran test broadcasts on Friendly TV through December - will be available for "a minimum of 8 hours a day" in the sports section of the Sky EPG.
Programming will include wrestling coverage from both the past and present, including around 25 hours of new material each week. Among the planned shows is one original programme: a weekly news show with the week in review/preview, special guests and speakers, competitions and phone-ins.
The lineup excludes anything from the WWE-owned libraries, including WWE, WCW, ECW, OVW, SMW, AWA and Stampede
The Wrestling Channel will be free-to-air from launch.
