Sky have commenced downloading the Sky digibox software update this morning that was mentioned last month.
The update includes features like the ability to block specific channels at all times or only after 8pm (e.g. due to adult content) and an option to set the interactive symbol (red dot) to automatically disappear after 30 seconds but hasn't added any additional Now and Next details for radio stations on the platform.
Viewers will be able to tell whether their box has been upgraded or not by checking the colour of the audio icon on any one of the radio stations. If the update has taken place the icon in the Now and Next banner will be white instead of blue.
Screenshots of the new settings can be found below:

Language and Subtitles options in System Setup. When the Highlighted Programmes option is set to either Narrative or Subtitles any programmes that offer this feature will be highlighted in the channel listings.
Pressing the Help button used to bring up banner giving viewers easy access to turn Subtitles and Narrative on or off.
In preparation for another update planned for later this year which includes EPG numbers for radio stations beginning with a prefix of zero, pressing zero before any other number on a Sky remote control will now display an audio icon.
