I have just bought a second-hand one for £20 to replace my Pace one, which is constantly getting 'stuck on standby'. I find this unit faster than the Pace and will be interested to see if I have the same problems.

I have had this box for 3 and a half years, i am very pleased with it. Its always updated with the latest software vesion, its stable and easy to work with its ready within minutes of setting it up. But overall i have not seen any problems with buying this panasonic digibox. OVERALL 10 OUT OF 10

I got one of these about 3 years ago as a free replacement from Sky because I threatened to cancel, and was very surprised that it was a brand new model. My Mum also go one as a new customer and both have worked very well. Very fast EPG and instant channel change. I now have Sky+ and even though it's great, they channel change is alot slower (blue screen quite often for 1-2 seconds).

Extremely fast box, instant channel changing and very fast EPG and interactive services. Pretty stable software and this is the only box I've seen which allows you to actually store the full 50 slots in the Other Channels menu (and actually REMEMBER these channels). The box gives a stunning picture when watching a high bitrate channel in RGB mode, very crisp picture. Box can run a little hot at times and often needs the odd reset every four or five weeks ( :D ) due to "lock-up". Unfortunately, these boxes suffer a feared "plague" whereby they start getting allergic to SkyWare LNBs. Performance during bad weather is exceptional - there is no loss of performance or PQ during even the heaviest of rain - I've never seen the picture freeze on my box (that is, until the tuner failed and the box has stopped working). Even though my box began to fail, it is still a very good sky digibox.

I have had a Panasonic DSB40 for two years and have had no problems, Its a shame they are no longer making units for Sky....

I've had this box for the past 3 years and although it had been disconnected from power/dish for a few months last year, it updated new software within minutes. It is aesthetically pleasing with it's silver presence. Throughout it's life it's been reliable, stable and apart from jumping onto standby once (as far as I can remember) has been great.
