Someone calling themself 'Digimaster' has recently posted the following 'rumours*' into the forum.

For the benefit of our readers who perhaps don't particpate in the forum these 'rumours*' are detailed below:

  • Software Updates
    The long awaited software update which will enable Digital Teletext should be released in March. This update will also introduce Digital Subtitling as well as a new release of the EPG which has been called 'Sky Planner'

  • More Widescreen
    The summer will see Sky increase it's Widescreen output. As part of this move Sky Premier Widescreen will increase it transmission hours and become an 'all day' service. The information also suggests that 'Sky Premier 4' will be renamed 'Sky Premier Widescreen 2'. Likewise 'Sky Moviemax 5' will be renamed 'Sky Moviemax Widescreen'

  • Return of Sky 2
    The information suggests that Sky will relaunch the Sky 2 entertainment channel during the Summer.
