Universal Pictures and Tiscali UK have launched PictureBox, a subscription-on-demand film service, on Tiscali TV.

For a monthly fee of £5, viewers can select feature films via the Tiscali TV IPTV platform. Around 28 feature films are featured at any one time, including current and library feature films, with titles from NBC Universal like American Wedding and The Chronicles of Riddick.

Jonathan Sykes, Tiscali UK's managing director of content strategy, said: "This is a great addition to the range of films currently available to Tiscali TV subscribers... It allows the subscriber to choose from up to 28 films every month and watch them at their own convenience as many times or in as many sittings as they want without being tied to any scheduling or rental time constraints.
