CNX will launch on the Telewest digital cable service this week, according to a post from the Digital Spy Telewest Broadband forum.
The forum, which is frequented by Telewest staff helping keep customers updated with developments at the cable operator, reports that CNX - part of the Turner Broadcasting bouquet - will launch in the Supreme package on channel 148 on January 15.
Other channels launching on that date are FTN, from Telewest's content division, Flextech - on channel 123 in the Starter pack, and UK Bright Ideas, from the UKTV stable of channels - a joint venture between Flextech and BBC Worldwide - on channel 263 in the Starter pack.
At its launch in October 2002, CNX was available on Sky and ntl but not on the Telewest platform. Both Telewest and Turner Broadcasting remained quiet on negotiations but it certainly appears that a mutually acceptable deal has finally been struck.
