Details remain sketchy about the new 'CBM' channel which appeared yesterday on the lineup of services available to digital terrestrial television viewers.

Early speculation that the channel was in some way connected to actor Glenn Carter, due to a website for CBM being found by Digital Spy forum members on the same server as a site for Carter, was quashed after website designer Stuart Long explained to us: "I was asked to do some flash animation for a holding page and register a name. The holding page is due to be moved to a CBM server in due course and the hosting at present is just temporary. Neither myself or Glenn Carter have any connection or involvement in CBM save for the fact I did design work on both web pages. The domain names are due to be transferred to CBM in the near future."

That said, speculation about precisely what form the channel will take continues to grow. Crown Castle, which is working with CBM Media Ltd on the channel, is remaining tight-lipped about what viewers can expect to see on the channel - although there are indications an announcement may be made next week.
