ITV content is to be available on-demand through BT's digital TV service BT Vision, it has been announced.
The deal between the two parties will provide BT Vision customers with access to programmes such as Coronation Street, Emmerdale and The X Factor for up to eight days after initial broadcast.
Additionally, BT Vision is to offer archive ITV content for selected programmes more than six months' old, such as Lewis, Prime Suspect and Hell's Kitchen.
Programmes from ITV's digital channels - ITV2, ITV3 and ITV4 - are also covered by the deal.
"The deal with BT Vision allows us to be able to reach new audiences with both our catch-up and archive on-demand content," said Ben McOwen Wilson, director of ITV Online. "The consumption of ITV content across our platforms [in 2008] has been staggering."
Under the deal, BT will provide ITV with a minimum annual revenue guarantee in addition to a per-subscriber fee.
