ITV2 went free-to-view on the digital satellite platform on Sunday evening, according to reports on the Digital Spy forums.
Until the move, ITV2 was only available on satellite with a subscription to Sky's Family Pack. Now those who paid just over £20 for a FTV card giving access to ITV1, Channel 4 and Five without the need to take out a Sky subscription also have access to the channel.
On Friday, it emerged that ITV and Sky were to engage in a further two months of conditional access carriage negotiations.
More on this as developments happen.
