ITV has begun a recruitment campaign for 30 technology experts and managers to help create new digital applications and services for the broadcaster.
Placed in the Sunday Times, the ITV advert states that "technology sits at the heart of the organisation and is a major catalyst for business change and industry innovation".
There are 16 different job categories available, split into four teams - innovation and business change (including marketing and airtime/online sales); television production and post-production techniques; architecture and governance service delivery; and solution delivery for managing "effective, repeatable, low-risk delivery of business solutions".
The recruitment campaign will further seek to bring in eight business technology consultants, with the added note that international experience is a plus.
An ITV spokesman told The Guardian that a complete overhaul is planned for the technology side of the business, as part of a wider operational transformation.
Among the planned changes, external contractor Accenture will be tasked with taking on components of ITV's routine back office operations from June.
"We are in the middle of an exciting transformation of the technology group at ITV," said ITV chief information officer Richard Cross.
"Our aim is to refocus the internal technology team away from operational activities, to value creation, flexibility and innovation."
Upon announcing the appointment of Adam Crozier as ITV's new chief executive, ITV chairman Archie Norman pledged that the former Royal Mail boss would bring "transformational change" to the firm.
A major area of focus for Crozier will be unlocking new revenue streams to avoid ITV's dependency on a free-to-air advertising model, with online services viewed as a key growth area.
