Upcoming childrens' channel 4Kids is "in talks" to launch on Freeview, according to Broadcast.

The station, which is expected to bow early next year, is speaking to Sit Up TV about leasing a three-hour, daily slot on one of its two channels broadcast via the platform.

Sources told the mag that Sit Up has put a price tag of £1.25 million on the five-year contract.
