Media Guardian has reported that ntl and Telewest have signed up the On Demand Group to develop video-on-demand (VOD) services.

The group already manages the Front Row pay-per-view (PPV) and near-video-on-demand (NVOD) service, which is a joint venture between Britain's two largest cable operators.

VOD services will be developed under the Front Row brand, although it is unclear when consumers will see any tangible signs of the service.
