Telewest has completed the rollout of its video-on-demand Teleport service ahead of schedule, the company confirmed today.

The service is now available in Yorkshire and west London, finishing the regional rollout.

Telewest has also signed a new content deal for Teleport with Granada International. Series including Cold Feet, Cracker and Prime Suspect will now be available on the service.

"Everyone loves to watch classic TV entertainment over Christmas and our customers will be able to avoid the turkeys by controlling what's on the box," said Eric Tveter, president and COO of Telewest. "All of our digital television customers now have the Teleport service and we've got our TVDrive box, a complimentary HD-ready PVR, lined up for the new year."
