Setanta Sports, exclusive live broadcaster of the Scottish Premier League has today announced plans to roll out its live SPL games to all digital terrestrial television viewers across the UK in conjunction with Top Up TV. This is after initial trials in Scottish and Grampian regions proved highly successful.
The service will be available via Top Up TV’s 'Xtraview' technology. To view the service customers need either a DTT set-top-box or a digital TV, and a credit card. Full details of how to purchase the service are listed on channel 34.
The next fixtures to be shown live will be:
January 22nd Motherwell v Celtic
January 29th Inverness CT v Rangers
February 12th Rangers v Celtic
February 19th Dunfermline v Celtic
"Further to the successful trial of the service in the Scottish and Grampian regions, we are delighted to make the service available to all 6.4 million Freeview customers, said Roger Hall, Managing Director, GB Channels at Setanta Sports. "All Freeview viewers will now be able to watch live SPL game coverage and pre-match build-up from the Setanta Sports 1 channel."

Customers may need to retune their set-top-box to be able to receive the channel.
