Sky has apologised for an EPG problem affecting some customers in the Midlands and Yorkshire regions.

Viewers tuned to BBC One suffered a loss in EPG listings and, although live viewing was unaffected, scheduled Sky+ programmes failed to record.

"Working with the BBC, we believe we have isolated the issue to a change made at their broadcast systems last weekend," a Sky spokesman told Digital Spy. "Just after 10.00am today, a correction was made which we believe has resolved the issue."

He added: "Viewers who continue to experience the problem should first attempt a simple channel change. If this does not work, we recommend they turn the power off and on at the socket."
