BT Entertainment CEO Andrew Burke has left the company just months before the telco is due to launch its "BT Vision" service.

BT Vision will offer consumers a box capable of receiving both over-the-air DTT channels and on-demand programming delivered by a broadband internet connection.

In a statement, BT said that Burke quit "by mutual consent to pursue other interests," and added that he "made an enormous contribution to the development of BT Vision and has helped assemble a world class team that everyone is confident will deliver a successful launch in the Autumn."
