GSB are still holding talks with ITV Digital over the continued carriage of its channels on the platform, Digital Spy has been informed.
Rumours emerged earlier in the week that Granada Breeze and Men & Motors would be axed on December 8th to make way for more channels on the primary lineup.
A spokesman for GSB, which is jointly owned by Granada and BSkyB, told Digital Spy that they were "moving towards" a new carriage deal with ITV Digital.
"GSB - as all channels with platform deals do - have contracts with both ITV Digital and Sky," he said. "We are currently moving towards finalising our carriage deal with ITV Digital for Plus, Men & Motors and Breeze."
He went on to say that they had "no comment" on the nature of the negotiations, adding that they are "confidential".
