E4, FilmFour and ITV Sport will not close for DTT viewers tonight.

Most pay TV channels will cease transmission at midnight tonight, but E4 and FilmFour will remain available and encrypted for the time being, sources close to the situation have told Digital Spy.

Both stations, along with the ITV Sport Channel, are guaranteed transmission for at least the next two weeks.

Update, 18:19:
A statement from Channel 4 has confirmed the continued availablity of its channels. "ITV Digital subscribers will continue to be able to receive the Channel 4 signal via digital terrestrial receivers, irrespective of whether the pay TV platform continues to operate," it says. "E4 and FilmFour will continue transmissions on digital terrestrial frequencies, in the short term, while the future of the pay TV platform is decided."
