Customers of Kingston Interactive Television are now able to receive services from Playboy TV "on-demand", after 10pm.

The service, which went live on Thursday night, allows customers to choose between fifty films and programmes from Playboy TV's main UK brands - PlayboyTV, The Adult Channel, and Spice. PlayboyTV's broadcast channel will continue to be available on KIT, although renting from the video-on-demand service allows customers to pause, stop, rewind and fast forward what they're watching.

A PIN will be required to preview and/or rent the content, which is only available after 10pm. Customers who rent from the VOD service will be "discretely billed" at the end of the month.

KIT's MD, Kevin Walsh, said: "It's tremendously exciting to be able to say that the first ever adult Video-On-Demand deployment in the UK is on KIT. It's also tremendously exciting for our customers who can now schedule their own adult programmes."
