Sarah Jessica Parker has landed in Australia.

The Sex and the City star, who is visiting the country for the premiere of latest movie I Don't Know How She Does It on Wednesday night (November 2), has also agreed to be a VIP guest at Flemington's Oaks Day on Thursday (November 3).

According to the Herald Sun, Parker was spotted pushing her Louis Vuitton luggage through Melbourne Airport wearing large sunglasses. She stopped to sign autographs for fans and smiled for photographs before being driven away in a limousine.

Burlesque star Dita Von Teese, who arrived in Melbourne last week, was a guest in the Lavazza marquee at the racing carnival at the weekend. She was spotted flirting with model Dylan Flannery and was quoted as saying: "The men here are so gorgeous - and they're straight."

Von Teese later attended the after party at the Albert Park Hotel and was spotted talking to Flannery again. He described the special attention from her as "pretty cool".

Parker, Von Teese and Kim Kardashian all had to find alternative flights when a number of Qantas services were cancelled over the weekend as a result of industrial action.
