Tristan walks through the market wearing nothing but his underwear and all the women can't help but stare. He makes his way towards number 55 but is suddenly stopped in his tracks by Kim. Not wanting to know why he's just about naked, Kim drags him to one side and tries to talk to him about what happened the other night. She affirms that it can't happen again, not while she's in the situation she's in. Tristan seems sidetracked, and is even more so when he hears the phone ringing from inside the house. While Kim's still talking, Tristan walks away, unlocks his front door and slams it shut.

Later, Tristan's cooking himself some lunch when he looks for the time but is stunned to find his watch is missing - he must have lost it last night... He rummages around his house in a bid to find the distinctive timepiece but it's nowhere to be found. Surely such a small mistake won't result in his ultimate downfall?

Meanwhile, over at the Beales', Ian clutches a photograph of Jane and the kids - it's a year to the day since they were tragically killed in a head-on collision. Ian's in a world of his own when he hears a car screech around the Square and the front door of the house slamming. Steven walks through to the living area, closely followed by Hannah. Not realising what day it is, Steven tells Ian that he has some important news. Ian looks on as Steven reluctantly reveals Hannah's pregnancy. Ian immediately breaks down in tears when the reality of his situation hits home - he has nobody but Steven in his life now and he has to make a go of things with his son, despite the grief and anguish he caused one year ago to the day.

The kids have no idea that their foster parents are in the process of IVF treatment - until Milo finds an e-mail on the family computer confirming Kim's next appointment at the clinic. Kim, however, has more to worry about when she discovers that she's pregnant. Her concern, however, is who the father might be...
