It's not your moral right, it's your legal right. By eating meat I would suggest your morals are far from right.
I hope the killing of animals for pleasure is soon banned like slavery, racism and other forms of prejudices practised by the morally bankrupt. It's all ways the slowest in our society that keep us from advancing as a species.
