There is a huge inaccuracy in this otherwise interesting article about the Spice Girls. - Emma Bunton showed herself up to be a thoroughly unpleasant person on Strictly Come Dancing. Many people liked her before but turned against her as a result of Strictly.

Yeah she was a real horrible, nasty piece of work wasn't she

Don't be ridiculus, of course she wasn't, just because she was really determined to win, what's wrong with that? People had the knives out for her on DS before the show even bloody started. She couldn't win. She still made it to 3rd place though whcih was good even though she was far better than the other 2.

I don't think she came across badly at all on SCD. There's nothing wrong in having a bit of competitive spirit!

And come on - she was far better than that second-placed plank of wood Matt Dawson.

I like her but i think mel c is a nicer person..i met her at a charity thing realy down to earth...

But emma is being a bit stupid she is heavily pregnant and did you see the size of the heels on her shoes..silly woman.

Absolutely, loved Emma before SCD and loved her even more after. It's a shame the British public voted for a far worse dancer in Matt, but i'll not go off on one here.

For me Emma did nothing wrong on SCD last year, apart from have a little prior dancing experience, and people automatically took this as cheating, hence the reason I had several arguments with people on the SCD bit. I'm not too sure how this makes her horrid though, ridiculous comment to make to start a thread IMO

As someone who is not a fan of the Spice Girls and only really "knows" Emma Bunton through SCD I don't understand why the OP says she was " thoroughly unpleasant person" on SCD - I thought she seemed really nice, and determined to do as well as she could
