Wow - just phoned up two John Lewis's relatively near to here. The first was ok and said the usual 'no stock, don't know when they're coming in' but the second, a huge JL, was really rude and just said to check the website!

It's worth trying the same place twice actually, because the first time I phoned was a stuck up lady who said there was no stock straight away and the second time was a man and he actually checked and said there was. It's always worth trying again with anything to see if you get a different person who can actually be bothered!

Got mine with the Gamestation bundle - suspected it may be that you couldn't get it without it being part of a bundle, so held off buying the Wii till now! Finally! Now just need to see if it shows up....

I finally mangaed to get a Wii Fit today. On the off chance I called a couple of Game stores in Central London and they both said that they had just sold out of there stock today. So from this I gathered that most Game stores had had a delivery today.

I tried a Game on Oxford Street and they said they had some in stock, but were selling out fast, so I dashed down there and managed to get one.

On the way back I passed by HMV in Oxford Street (near Bond Street station) and they had a sign up saying they had them back in stock. So seems like London had deliveries today.

I just ordered one from my local Dixons store and it will be delivered tomorrow. They told me that they have 249 free units, however you'll need to order it instore because online are only allowing you to order it as part of a package.

Just ordered one from hmv online thanks to a stock locator website....http://www.wiipreorder.co.uk/Wii-Fit.aspx.

I used the realtime audio alerts option as my pc is switched on most of the day and I am never far from it.

You do have to be bloomin quick though as most of the stock sells out in minutes... I had already missed out twice when Amazon had it..

I meant to post in here on Friday and totally forgot.

When I headed to Toys R Us for my SSBB, they had boxes and boxes of Wii Fit, I would guess that they had about 15 in stock when I was there, and there seemed to be a fair amount of the little tickets Toys R us use to collect games sitting on the desk, I took it Nintendo had kept some Wiis and Wii fits behind to send out with SSBB, Morrisons near me also had 5 Wii Fits in and some Wiis on Friday.

Maybe a bit late now, but could be worth a try as it wasn't clear in store that they had them in stock.

The one I was in was Dundee by the way, but I would guess most Toys R Us had a delivery.

I think online retailers are selling out so quickly because most people don't want to have to traipse round the shops or ring round when it is quicker to search the internet. Although more people have reported seeing them in the shops recently, it still seems a bit hit and miss as to where you can find them...

Hopefully things will start to improve soon.....but I wouldn't hold your breath for getting one in late November/December lol...

I got one today from Toys r Us.

Last one though.

How can it be so high up on the All Formats charts when there seems to be only five available in the whole country.

I know, it came out months ago and was pre-ordered up and sold out almost on release and then in the last few months there have only even been handfuls here are there countrywide..
when are nintendo gonna flood the UK with a good pile of the damn things...?
There are so many people waiting on these that when a good shipment comes in they will all sell out again in hours due to demand....
Some are going for £130-150 on ebay... nutters.. i'm not 'that' desperate....

Argos weren't helpful again and told me that they aren't taking any more orders for home delivery until September because of the high volume.
This was ages ago...and it didn't come today, phoned them up and said they never even had any and didn't know I even ordered it (even though they took my bank details!) Kicked up a right fuss and got £30 vouchers coming my way, if they remember. Even though it's expensive there so might get half an item!

I don't think I'm meant to get a Wii fit.

Trying to get one imported from America, and they are pratically extinct! Lord knows when they people will be able to randomly walk into a shop, and they'll be plenty availiable!
