Do the producers want the twins to win

And if so isn't it a waste of time everyone who's voting for them to just to stick one at Cowell

I don't think the producers want John & Edward to win but I'd say that they want them to stay in for as long as possible, they are probably the most talked about act ever on X Factor (Whilst the show is in progress)

But when the time is right they'll be gone.

They'll probably want to keep them in till the final but then have someone that has even a tiny chance of a successful musical career win. J & E will be money making machines whatever the outcome.

They want them in the finals that much I guarentee, this pair are making them money, and the show ratings are shooting up every week, no contestant ever has had this type of publicity, not this early on. It is big business and SC, producers et al all know it, they are rubbing their grubby mits together. and no not the twins, they are being used as a great advertising ploy for this show, and leaked stories my foot, they are being spoon feed out, like the twins song is the only one out there we know.. why is that do you think, to ensure MORE people tune in this week.

The twins have won - how far they go in the X Factor is beside the point.

The whole situation with Simon not wanting the twins to progress is just an act. The bottom line is Simon is loving the fact they are still in as it's creating more publicity for his show, including mentions on the national news.

Will the twins win NO will they make it to the final YES, will Simon be happy YES, all the way to the bank

I dont know K, if they go out now the figures could drop drastically, the press would dry up, so I think it matters that they are there on the final night, it would make it one hell of a show, and alot of people would tune in..more than would if they are not there I think.

Yes K they have won, and several of the others in that house will realise it as well, has anyone considered that. They are made win or lose now.

I think the answer to this depends on what 'hats' the producers are wearing.

From the point of view of TV producers, they don't care in the slightest who wins. What counts are ratings, possibly AI and most certainly the revenue they can generate from the advertising slots whilst the show is being broadcast. After the show has finished airing, the subsequent career of the winner is, at best, of minor concern.

But, of course, from the point of view of SyCo Records, they'd want the winner to be someone they felt was going to provide a return on their 1 million record contract investment.

So, I guess the answer to the question depends on the extent to which the TV producers are also invested in the follow-on success of SyCo Records with the winner.

Regards,

Cypher

They are just the macdonald brothers or the chico of this series - all be it a much more popular and greater watched series but in the end I dont think they will win. Does simon want to spend £1million on them? no. Will he makes sure he does well out of them whilst their lime light lasts? Yes.
