Don't like the new titles. Absolutely nothing wrong with the old titles.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

would seem so... but for a smaller match (no offence to the teams) maybe somebody else will be given a chance.

I don't mind the new titles it's good to see someone trying to do something a little more inventive than the usual. Having said that I agree that there was nothing wrong with the old ones so it seems a strange decision to change them after just one year. Having said that a number of my friends didn't like ITV using Abide With Me as the theme so they may feel using the Arctic Monkeys may attract a few more A1 viewers.

Quite impressed with the ITV coverage so far. I like the style of presenting being used, I always feel studios at these kid of ground look really naf. Gabriel Clarke's walk around before the game was also good even despite the picture break up (surely this should have been spotted in the rehearsal?). Credit should go to ITV too for making use of they access Paulton have given them by editing all the shots from the hotel this morning into their VT's.

Swansea v Cardiff......12.45..SkySports 1

Actual Commentators...Rob Hawthorne and Garry Birtles

Steve Wiser...Rob Hawthorne and Garry Birtles..3points
Cottonheat....Rob Hawthorne and Garry Birtles..3points

David, D4N1ELL, Lemezma, The Wanderer, Pakokelso, Mr.Williams, TOKI, Shaun_D, Zapp, Pcuffy, Venno, Pm Aint Bad, Scott117 and BobbyG all got a point for getting either Hawthorne or Birtles.

Noone else scored in this game.

Bad luck to quite a few who got last nights commentators and todays game around the wrong way

So we still have Steve Wiser and Cottonheat on 100% with 6 points.

However we still have many who have 0 points!

This is some game, this.
spoiler:
Three goals in the first 33 minutes!

In stark contrast to the Edinburgh Derby, it would seem...

EDIT:
spoiler:
Make that four in 35: wow!

Rob Hawthorne really is getting some cracking games this season and this game is no exception and he himself is doing very well.

Yes I this is a good point. A few people have given Hawthorne a lot of praise of the past few months and rightly so as his performed very well. However, he has been by far the luckiest commentator so far this season as most of the games he has covered have been fantastic. This in addition to getting many of Sky's big games this season is always going to lead to fantastic performances. It is far easier to commentate on the big games or the exciting games than it is to commentate on the boring 0-0's from the Championship. So in many ways if Hawthorne wasn't impressing right now Sky would be very worried about their potential new number 1. As it is for the first time he starting to show he could potentially replace Martin Tyler but how much is this down to the games he has covered or his skills as a commentator.

There are four PL games tommorow so he'll probably be involved then.

It'll be interesting to see how IGH copes with the Swansea-Cardiff game: if he can't raise himself for a game of this standard then there are serious problems.
