That is even stranger then, seeing you loved him at the start. For me, I have watched this programme long enough to not take any notice at all of the rubbish the judges spout..trying to make us like someone...not like someone...feel sorry for someone...big them up etc...I just judge them week on week. He doesn't deserve the vitriol he is getting.

Funnily enough, I can understand that.

I don't think you should necessarily vote for him, but if he happened to do a performance you thought was the best of the night, it would be a shame not to vote just because of Simon.

Thats assuming you vote at all of course. Not everyone does.

It's a cocktail of lots of things, and just like the Big Brother forums turned increasingly nasty so will this forum.

I couldn't agree more. But I suspect that the fact he's palpably head and shoulders above any of the other contestants (in my opinion at least) is fuelling some of this absurd nonsense. Still, as is often the case, it's a matter of casting pearls before swine.

And how amusing - and, oh so, predicatable - that once Danyl got a bit of support on this silly thread, with people rightly doubting the tittle-tattle that he's a bully, we get someone crawling out of the woodwork claiming it's true because they're "in the know".
