I can't identify it but it looks horrible. You can buy similar players for about the same price in the supermarkets.

At least with a supermarket purchase you can return it to get a refund when it inevitably fails.

What part of this is "free" It says free DVD and media player but click on either link and you have to pay for an item £14.98 for both and £1.45 for the DVD, no way is that only for the P&P

As with all things in The Express it'll be of 'rock bottom' quality. You can probably get a better quality machine in 'Poundland'.

It's the way it's worded - the DVD 2012 disk is free, you just pay p&p, but the player is chargeable. Typical marketing trick, the idea is you quickly read it and think "free!"

The actual wording is

"Claim a free 2012 preview DVD and a fabulous hi-tech home media player"

if it said "Claim a free 2012 preview DVD and a fabulous free hi-tech home media player" that would totally change the offer.

It's probably about the same as a £15 - £20 cheapo DVD player you'd buy in Tesco's.

If you must get something like this then you're better off going to Tesco so that when it goes wrong you can get your money back much more easily.

And £1.49 for a preview DVD?

No thanks.

Yes clause 4 of Expansive Media says all their goods are provided free of charge but can charge for shipping and handling. What Express newspapers need to answer is what the £9.99 is for. We know £4.99 is for P and P.

Don't think I've seen a cheap DVD Player with a USB port before.
