It did not do this before.
Can you try that savvy please?

I did select this initially from a search for doctor who though so that may be it.

the 2 programmes are series linked oddly enough ( although maybe on HD only ?)

The BBC have given them the same Series CRID on BBCHD, so that is the correct behaviour.

Rgds.

I'm still having problems with subtitles. When time shifting on any ITV channels i still get subtitles appearing and have no way to remove them, even after the update

Maybe the faster delete is just down to the system flagging the file to be deleted and not actually deleting it to a little later.

It does not actually delete any faster just returns control to you. Try a second delete while the bin icon is on the screen. It certainly feels a lot faster.

• RGB output available on HD content (Live TV and Recordings)

Does this mean you get HD quality via RGB, or HD content at SD quality?

Is it my imagination, but I am watching ITV1 via RGB at the moment and the PQ seems better since upgrading - very sharp.

It's SD scart can only carry SD with the best picture available in RGB. Prior to the update HD was downgraded to composite only. If you want to sse the best ITV1 pictures try ITV 1 West Country (unless of course that's what you are already viewing)

Thanks for confirming what I thought, that it can't be HD via RGB. Being not very tekkie I get easily confused

Watching in Granadaland; if nobody else has noticed it must be me.

New Software

Morning all,

Have been trying to upgrade from USB stick as per instructions on Humax site. Tried 2 USB sticks both under 1gb as stated and no luck. Just goes through normal boot up.

I can't do an OTA upgrade as I've only one feed.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Mine was a 2 GB USB and worked fine. Is yours formatted with FAT32? If not try that.

I tried 2 usb sticks here as did my friend up the road I got the Loader installed by using a 1GB SD card in a usb adapter in the end I popped up to his with it at 10pm last night as his 2 keys didn't work either we both then downloaded 1.0.11 software OTA with a single cable connection

Since the update, I now see, when you press the 'info' button for recordings, no programme details are display for the recording, it certainly used to work before the update.

Out of interest, I take it the "Update date" in Diagnostics means nothing to this? Software is reporting as 1.00.11 but "Update date" is 25/OCT/09.

Loader is still 7.52, is there any advantage to manually updating this to 7.53?

Update date will just be when it was compiled.

No advantage unless you use multiple satellite stuff, no.

My multisat setup is still on an antique Technomate 1000 from when I was in school so I won't bother then. Thanks!

Weird, today it seems to work fine, yesterday I tried numerous times and for the life of me I could not get info for recordings to show.

Cheers
