I've been driving my daughter mad all day playing Adam's album over and over. Each time I find another song I like best! At the moment it's 'Strut', but I think possibly 'Soaked' is the best song on there.

What does everybody else think?

I'm like you - I keep playing the whole album over and over again and changing my mind. Unlike most albums there isn't really any track I don't like.

I think my favourite is Pick U Up at this precise second, but I love Fever, Strut, WWFM, Soaked, TFM and Broken Open very much too. Then the rest. I think my least favourite is possibly If I had You but I'm being really picky now.

I love the album. I really do.

I really like most of them like you and Roddy.

There is just not a bad song on the CD. This is the problem.

I have been strutting to 'strut' non-stop. It will make a great video. If self esteem sells this one should be shifting millions of non-movers off the couch onto big dreams.

He is selling in many countries without promotion. Adam has arrived indeed. I would not be suprise if he charts here this week or next. Can't wait for the concert.

Regards

Babeth

I'm the same, I like every single track for different reasons. I really couldn't pick a favourite.

I've been singing Music Again in my head (and occasionally aloud!) all day today. He looked so happy singing it yesterday, it makes me smile when I hear it

Do you have a link for that, Twizzy? I saw him do Whataya Want From Me but not Music Again.

[it's ok, I found it on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omn-ZEuvLpY ]

Whataya Want From Me seems to be my default song to sing around the house at the moment, closely followed by For Your Entertainment, which funnily enough I didn't rate first time around but now it's really grown on me!

Otherwise I am completely in love with Soaked.

Sure Fire Winners is one of my favourites, along with Music Again, Strut and Fever. But really love most of them, including TFM. I think that's an awesome vocal to end the album on.

I haven't even been into HMV this week, so I have no idea if FYE is in stock there. Will check later on.

My internet was a bit crap this morning but the Scott & Todd video was also stuttering, though not so bad once my connection improved.

Fallout Helps Album Sales

http://news.softpedia.com/news/Fallo...m-128169.shtml

Some excerpts from article:

Quote:
Although Lambert’s album is, critically speaking, a piece that stands its ground without too much outside help, the fact that he generated a genuine media storm with his AMAs performance only brought more attention to it. Consequently, shortly after the fallout began, fans rushed to download the album, pushing it high up on digital charts.
Quote:
But one day after its release on Monday, Lambert’s ‘For Your Entertainment’ from Sony Music, soared to No.4 on Apple’s iTunes album charts overtaking the soundtrack to the ‘Twilight’ movie sequel ‘New Moon’,” Reuters informs.
Quote:
As we were also telling you the other day, estimates for future sales are very good, with some critics saying that “FYE” might even get to more around 500,000 items in its first week. Whether that truly turns out to be the case or not, both critically and commercially, Lambert’s album, despite the fact that it was completed in just a few months, is one of this year’s strongest contenders.

Good morning all.

Linny you beat me to it. But spot on. That article again is indicating that Adam's sales might be higher. All will be revealed soon.

I am please the writer appreciated and recognises Adam's talent and that its a strong album regardless of the hoopla.

OK, I do not want to rock the boat again with more 'Aftermath' fallouts.

But the view presenters in particular Elizabeth Hasselback-'conservative tight arse' says'Adam should smarten up and sing or he will not be remembered'. Bless Barbara & Whoppi they are defending him. As we are aware Adam will be on Barbara's ' Most facinating people of the year'. You can listen to the view here.

If I have to pick a clear favourite then it's Whataya Want From Me.

The dance numbers, love them all, cannot pick a fave from those. Love the bass on Strut, really cool. Love the grandiose of Soaked too.

Oh don't make me choose faves, it's too hard!

The first high note on Music Again wasn't quite perfect so I doubt very much it was mimed.

So far my favourite tracks are Broken Open and Soaked.
