Evening all. Apologies I have no time to read back today, so will have to catch up on news over the weekend, but I just want to wish Alesha lots of luck in her presenting tonight, and Alesha & the SCD pros (esp Matthew) lots of luck in the singing/dancing. Sure it will all be fabulous and I have the Sky Plus lined up just in case of any Mattesha moments, that I may want to watch again. FUN FRIDAY indeed.

Hope everyone has a good weekend and enjoys CIN and SCD and there is a new Matthew Strictly Confidential on the beeb board too. (Am sooo pleased that Matthew has done nearly all of those - makes up for lack of ITT and at least we are getting our fair share of him in the pro dances this year, so best of both worlds!)

Hugs to everyone x.

Hi all, hope everyone is having a good weekend

Thought the opening to CIN was great and full of energy, lovely to see all the Pros and Alesha back on the same stage,i really miss seeing them all perform together .......the Pros looked to be really enjoying themselves and it touched me a bit when i saw Matt really giving it some and singing along.

*soppy old so and so that i am*

Also thought Alesha made a very good job of presenting, you can just imagine how manic CIN night is and what she must have had shouted at her through her earphone.....also loved her little chat with Ian/Katya/Matt and Natalie.... Ian made me laugh when he said he wanted to get on the podium with her.

Glad the last night of the tour went well Janice and you had a good time

Looking forward to the pro dance tonight.......

*feels a hot flush coming on*

What a shame about Ian and Jade they were the only couple that were truly making this series interesting for me,the only couple i was waiting for to come out and dance and REALLY wonder what they would do....

So sad seeing Jade sitting there having to watch all the other dancers.......

If it wasn't for Matthew (and Ian) in the Pro dances SCD would become distinctly un-interesting from this point on.

Series 5 is still a very very hard act to follow.

I always love to see Matthew dance but i can't even say the Pro Dance tonight was particularly memorable, beautiful lines and subtle movements but it didn't really go anywhere or instill any emotion

LOVED Shirley Bassey though, shes like Tom Jones, the voice is all

Evening, all! I missed last night show, as I did shopping trip to France yesterday. I haven't had a chance to watch the show yet, but I just want to say, it's really a shame, that Jade had to leave Strictly because of injury, for me the competition has lost it's spark! Ali and Ricky W are good dancers, but they don't excite me unfortunately.
This link is about Alesha's range of jewellery http://www.gemstv.co.uk/whatsHot.jsp
Alesha's release of the Alesha Show-Encore is out tomorrow, To Love Again is #15 in this week's chart. I've read in one of TV magazine, that she's going to be on Alan Tichmarsh show on Friday!

Evening, all! It's been very quiet here. I'm sorry to hear about Ali's injury on tonight ITT, hope, she'll be able to dance on Saturday, but it isn't looking good, I feel sorry for Brian, he was very upset!
There'a a story about Alesha having " Do you know, who I am" moment in the Daily Mail http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...b-hopping.html

Hello, I really enjoyed the opener to Children in Need, they all looked like they were enjoying themselves and having fun and I loved that Matthew was singing along. Also there was plenty of twirling from the male pro's and I do like a good twirl. I loved Alesha's red sparkley shoes , is it too late for me to post my letter to Father Christmas.
As for a Mattesha reunion it was near yet so far , maybe it will happen in the final if they have a Champions dance like last year.

I thought Alesha did a great job presenting and brought her natural warmth and sparkle to the show, it made me laugh when Terry said that he thought that she could start her own religion.

Hi Svets how was France? I hope the sea wasn't too rough if you went by ferry. Thanks for all the links.

hugs to everyone.xx

Hi, Violet! We had a great time in France, the weather was nice, though I didn't buy much. We went to City of Europe and it was absolutely packed!
It'd be nice to see mattesha reunion, but I doubt, we'll see it these series!
Anyway, Alesha is on Alan Carr: Chatty Man on Channel 4, 10p.m tonight
Hope, you llike this pics http://jayesdance.blogspot.com/2009/...es-two_25.html

Hello everyone. Hope you are all doing well this week and have a sparkly weekend.

Svets thanks for all the great links - have been enjoying those and Matthew's latest Strictly Confidential as well. Loved Matthew's tiny moment on ITT forum answers tonight too - really made me smile!

Very happy to see Chris & Ola are doing the tour as well as Ali & Brian - my two faves this year! Hoping Ali is ok to dance tomorrow. Was sad to see Jade go last week and just hope there is no damage that puts back her career plans.

Hope everyone enjoys the show tomorrow. Hugs to all x.

Hiya VV ...........glad someone else mentioned CIN ,loved seeing Matt and Alesha together at least on the same stage.
As for a Mattesha reunion i think there is practically zero chance of it whilst Alesha is a judge.......who knows though ??

Hiya SG .......i'm enjoying Strictly Confidential as well and Matthews answer on the forum questions was funny, you can see him thinking and being cheeky, his cheeky smile is very adorable and he's pretty irresistible in that sort of mood

Didn't "get" the metal answer earlier in the week though ??.........he's off in an unknown fantasy world i think

I'm also very happy about the line up for the tour although truth be told i'd probably go whoever was in it as long as Matthew was dancing.

svets........as ever thanks for the links.

Wish me luck people.........i'm hitting the shops on a Saturday afternoon before Xmas

Popping into to send lots of love and hugs to Lady Latina and HAPPY BIRTHDAY LL.

Hugs to everyone else of course, and Janice thanks for all the great tour reports - so pleased you had such amazing experiences and wonderful time. Lovely to share the excitement with you. Alesha sounds very appreciative of her fans and I;m gald you got such special moments to remember.

Dance class Xmas dinner tonight so will be recording SCD - may have to watch the dance off when I get home - don't think I will be able to wait til tomorrow. Hope after all the dramas this week it's a good show for everyone....

Svets hun. Thanks again for all the links and I'm so pleased you are still posting.

Cuddly: Hope the work situation is improving - sending you lots of good vibes. Glad you had a fabby last dance class and hope you will feel like continuing with it. I am totally loving my classes and don't mind being crap at all - it's so much fun and great exercise. I can see how addictive SCD must be to the celebs even from my little forays into dancing.

VV: Also enjoyed CIN opener - Matthew and Alesha on the same stage, both going for it, was fabulous. All the dancers were great and that song is a real feelgood song for me.

FG: Agree with you about Matthew and the tour, but this year for me, it's marvellous that there are lots of additional reasons to enjoy it!

Hugs to Lou & Junior also - hope our new mummy and baby are settling in to their family life well.

Scats: Big waves - hope you are doing ok hun - noticed you on another thread and thought I would say hello as haven't "seen" you for ages chick. Are you doing your A-levels now??

Lots of hugs and best wishes to Missy & VG. Hope life is a little calmer for you both and that you ahve a bit of down time for partying and relaxing.

Have a good rest of weekend everyone. Off to reacquaint myself with a couple of Mattesha magic moments to get me in the mood for tonight! (Remi you're not the only one still addicted!)

Evening, all! Happy Birthday, LL! Hope, you're feeling better!
SG, have a lovely time at Xmas dinner!
I enjoy watching Strictly Confidential as well, I liked Matt's reply about having 4 mirrors in his house, but not on the floor or the ceiling!
Alesha's performance To Love Again on Alan Tichmarsh show
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QO9R3KIn364, she looked stunning, loved her dressbut I don't think, I could pull it off though!

There'a s story on the Sun site " Alesha may not sitck at Strictly" http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...e-Dancing.html, I think, it's up to Alesha to decide, what's the best for her, I've read somewhere, that's she'd like to be back next series!

morning, all! I enjoyed Charlestons more than R&R last night, Chis and Ola's dance was brilliant. Alesha looked very relaxed, she looked absolutely beautiful! I loved Matt in prodance! I think, it was right result, but I was still sad to see how upset Natalie and Vincent were!
There's a bit about all Strictly pros in the Sunday Mirror http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/celeb...5875-21850166/ Matt's dream partner is Alesha!!!

That's a rather gorgeous pic of Matt (slight understatement !!! ),somewhat puts the other pro dancers in the shade, even James........loving the sexier side of him coming to the fore this year.

When he says things like that about Alesha it seems such a shame that they will probably never dance together again whilst she is a judge.

Also enjoyed the pro dance last night and i love the twists Alionas choreography is putting on the traditional dances.

I've just found this fan video of mattesha waltz and VW http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZQ_JReUiHw and I agree with you, FG, it's really a shame, if we don't see them dancing together, it'd be nice, if Alesha does some presenting job next series or just being a guest on SCD, as Matt and Alesha can't dance at Xmas Special this year!

Hello

Happy Birthday LL.

SG I hope you had a great time at your Dance class Xmas dinner and it sounds like your having a great time learning to dance. I was wondering which Mattesha magic moments you chose to get you in the party mood? I can't watch just one of their dances, I always end up watching them all and before I know it an hour or more has passed so I hope you weren't late for your dinner. You must be very happy that Chris and Ola and Ali and Brian are dancing on the tour as well as Matthew I wonder what dances he will do with Kelly.

Svets thanks for all the links

Waves and hugs to everyone.xx

FG I agree, that picture certainly brightened up a very rainy and dull Sunday.

I hope they will dance together before the end of the series maybe in the past champions dance like last year. I think I read that Alesha wasn't allowed to sing on the show while she was judging, surely they will let her dance.

Hi all, hope everyone is doing good! Real life is getting in the way so I'm not on here as often and Dec is looking to be an uber-busy month for me but I'll trp pop in a few times!!

So Saturday....didn't get round to watching the show until last night. I have to say I hated those dances...far too cheesy for me. I think after all those weeks of training and learning making them do those dances was a shame really. They could have easily done them week 2 or 3. I enjoyed Chris and Ola's but hated every expression he made, thought Ali and Brian's was ok but nothing special and actually preferred Laila and Anton's who imo had the right balance.

I'm still supporting Ricky and was sad to see him in the DO although not surprised. However I thought in the VW and the DO he was amazing and in the latter looked like the pro. I was very angry with Brian during and after the VW - I'm really not liking him this year. I find him too cheesy and his performance on ITT when Ali injured herself was embarrassing imo. Poor Claudia, people have been slagging her off but if it were me I wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face. For god's sake Jade's career was at stake but you didn't see Ian being so melodramatic. Anyway sorry to anyone who is a fan of Brian, I think he's a great dancer, seems very sweet but just not my type of person.

I'm surprised at myself for liking Ricky so much, yes he is gorgeous (although as I've said before I much prefer his smile and eyes to the pecs) but I thought he would be a bit up himself but he really isn't. He also has a great relationship with the celebs and pros and more than one pro has said he should win because he is the best dancer which I think is lovely. But I'm gearing myself up for my fav not to win again..for the second year in a row. Thank goodness for Mattesha!!Anyway I've just written an essay which turned momentarily into a rant so I should go!!

hope everyone is feeling good this Tues, it's freezing where I am but just about to make a cup of tea to warm meself up!xxx

Evening, all!" waves to Violet and missy"
missy, I agree with you about Brian, as Flavia said on tonight ITT, it was " a bad floorwork", surely some points should have been deducted for that!
