The way it's looking Mondays are the only real strong night for the soaps at the moment.
I think People are going out christmas shopping towards the end of the week.

Well done to EastEnders for winning the individual soap battles last night as the scheduling made it very tough. Overall it was extremely close and of course all the soaps were down on what they would usually get!

BBC3 EE repeat picked up a super number, though not a record high.
Hey guys. Haven't been on for a while. So Corrie and EE went head-to-head? I thought that never happened anymore?

Also looking back, doesn't seem any of the big three are doing that great for the last month. Only the Monday episodes seem to have rated high.

Hi, yeah Corrie and EE went head to head last Thursday. EastEnders had an hour long episode and ITV moved Corrie back half an hour to accomodate an extended edition of I'm a Celebrity.

You're right. Some of the ratings over the past month have been quite low such as last Friday's. Hopefully things pick up as we head into Christmas period.

Coronation Street and Emmerdale are basically equal to what they managed this time last year.

Eastenders and Hollyoaks 500k down.

Yeah. EE is about half a million down from what I'd expect.

Its official 2009 average to date is: 8.34m.

At the same point in 2008, its average was 8.37m. It should be noted, however, that EE clashed with Emmerdale weekly last year while this year since August there's only been a couple of clashes.

Not great ratings for EE. It should definately be getting over 9m or close to 10m this time of year.

Poor for EastEnders, episode was good last night as well. It's quite surprising to see EE lower as a few weeks ago it had closed the gap with Corrie quite considerably and was comfortably beating it on Thursdays.

It's down to the BBC to boost momentum before Christmas.

Dissapointing for EastEnders last night. It's the best soap at the moment.

It should start to up it's rating next week with the big trial.

Hope the episodes make nearly 10m.

I don't think it's too bad
and there was a programe on BBC2 that got a good rating so that could have taken EastEnders ratings down alittle
and don't forget there's allways BBC3 to catch up.

Last night was a good episode but tonight was much better. There's no doubt that Eastenders is on top form with somuch going on.

I think that BBC news takes it's rating down abit as it starts earlier and Finishes before 8pm/830.

I think EastEnders will climb in the coming weeks

EastEnders should be getting much better ratings. It's very consisitent in terms of quality and has been in ratings but this week and last week has not been that great ratings wise.

It should start to get closer to 10m up to christmas. It has the big trail next week and stacey return and archie and janine. I hope the trail episodes get close to 10m.

EastEnders first showing should be doing slightly better. Coronation Street was out of it's usual slot so it's lower rating is quite acceptable. Emmerdale is a bit low as well though.

The EastEnders BBC3 repeat did very well, considering it only got 600k Monday night but over 850k last night!

Thats why there's no need to worry
People that miss the first showing of EastEnders are watching at 10pm on BBC3 or sunday

Its not the same with the other two because they don't have a regular repeat slot.

I Agree EastEnders is on top form atm with loads of big storylines building up.
I reckon the gay Affair Storyline will also be revealed around xmas/new year on top of the other 3/4 massive storylines.
Next week's trial and stacey's return could once again be true EastEnders powerfull Drama.
I don't think ratings will go up though unless it's advertised.

Not bad ratings for all soaps and Corrie was out of it's normal slot against Holby.

I think Corrie will be higher tonight against Waterloo road.

I know what i'll be watching!
