It's gutting that the NYE show couldn't be rescued. The stupid thing is the FCC issue may not even go through. Also the FCC cannot tell ABC or any channel what to broadcast as has been suggested in some places. They can only take action over something that has already been broadcast. It seems ABC won't be happy until they get an apology.

Even if the FCC have or haven't or do or don't impose a fine on ABC, this is ludicrous.

Apparently there was another possibility on the cards for NYE already before all this kicked off but the agreement had already been made with ABC, so hopefully it won't be too late for the other thing to still come off.

So why did Kimmel's people send an email saying a 2010 date would be scheduled? If all ABC events are getting cancelled now, who's to say that things will calm down in the next few months with them. Kimmel 2010 may not happen.

It was destined that ABC woudl cancel the NYE gig, once the Kimmel gig was shot down.

Are the FCC similar to our TV authorities - ITA is it?? Is a clause required for when artists perform, in case they go off the path a little and are accountable for their actions should any offence be caused?

It is disappointing, but I'm sure another NYE gig will come up, Adam does seem to be getting asked to appear for other events since the AMA's, so hopefully he does get to perform at that other posssibility you mentioned.

I seem to be waking up most days with Music Again in my head. I love that this is the one that starts off the album, it's perfect IMO.

I still have Music Again running through my head pretty much constantly! I love it. I'm sure I'll move on to another track soon but I don't seem to be ready yet.

I really do love each song, I have picked out WWFM from the beginning as my fave, but really, each day I love each song. Pick U Up is playing right now, and I love that! Love his laugh at the end.

It really is one of those albums that I can play over and over again continuously, where I love each song.
When I buy an album that I love, it's on constant play. I only have a few albums like that, but sadly even they've been relegated to a dark corner, and I don't know when they'll resurface. Sorry Muse

Maybe it's good that Adam has learned his lesson.
If he wants to be a mainstream artist, he does need to
learn the boundaries of what can and can't be done/said on primetime TV shows.

Accept your point -but I think it was more of a taste thing really. And yes Adam should have played by the rules of the big TV corporation but they were hyping it up to be racy so much beforehand! To think I was just disappointed that his vocals were not out of this world!!!

It was aired at 10.55pm - the same time as Jonathon Ross here - if Adam wanted to kiss, flirt or even crotch grab one of 4 poof & piano on the show or even JR - I am sure it would make their night not result in a banning.

I know that his loyal fans want to defend him no matter what, but I think he needs to realize that he made a misstep. If he'd done the performance as in rehearsal there would've been no problem. I hope he realizes that he can't keep thinking “I'll do whatever the hell I want to do!” . The thing is, if Adam can’t sell records, he will be in the jeopardy of being dropped. We all have seen that every season with promising Idols.
