Great idea from alan45,let's start a dump gabriel thread.
todd carty's wasted on this badly written character(not that he plays it well-far from it) who was created to bring in EE fans to the bill.he is hardly ever in it and all he's done is frame a couple of small time crooks,wind up gina gold and sleep with his mum.at least cathy and shearer seem to have some definite twisted agenda.he should have been in CID where can do real damage,not a rookie.so LET'S DUMP GABRIEL!

Sebd him back to walford. As anyone who knows me on these site will know. Gabriel is the most unbeliviable PC ever. I had 22 yrs and my wife 27 and we know people like him would have ben spoken to in the locker room and their card marked, but oh no not him, he is the best peeler/polisman in sun hill and for all hiws few months of service ends up r****g June. Wise up ITV who are you trying to kid. BIN GABRIEL NOW before yo lose all your viewers

alan45 ive got the perfect replacement for gabriel.it should be billy out of the ulster sitcom 'give my head peace' channel 928 on ntl and bbc northern ireland(for those who dont know it).even a sitcom PC is more believable than gabriel.

oh him, i thought i'd give the bill a try again after a few months away, turned it on and theres him saying to June "i love you June" or something when they were supposed to be going to arrest someone or some sort of police work (i know that gets in the way). *click* - oh well try the bill again in a few months...

I'm sure he'd make a very satisfying hissing noise as he incinerated.

Honestly, the way he grunts "June" over and over again is really getting on my nerves. He's giving us good potential Jim and June storylines I suppose but he's starting to spoil TB for me, and the sooner we see the back of him the better....

I hate him so much not just for the crap acting but also for this storyline which is yet another pointless stumbling block in the way of Jim and June being where they're supposed to be - TOGETHER FOREVER.

Think things might be heading int the right direction JJ wise though *fingers crossed*

Gabriel Sux !!!! he cant act. his character is unneccesary and he looks like a monkey! and the story line between him and June is stupid and annoying!

I'm presuming thatthe "real" Gabriel Kent has also been working whilst the "false" Gabriel has been at Sun Hill?

Surely the tax people would have realised that he National Insurance number is having double contibutions made to it & would have contacted both places of employment to find out what was going on???

Just one more point to prove the total absurdity of this storyline. Come on scriptwriters write out the apeman asap.

Yes. I don't think that this storyline was thought through very well. I suspect that the original intention was to have him as June's son but then they chickened out of the possible consequences of the incest storyline.

Surely when you join the police you are security checked anyway?

Yes you are - I'm a civilian worker for the police and even I had to be security checked - HOWEVER, if he has given them all his brothers documentation, it would have been his brother who was security checked, not him

Thanks for that Mrs. McDonald. Wouldn't he also have had to have provided references from people that had known him a certain amount of time too?

It seems that his brother had applied but at the last minute decided not to go forward with it so presumably all the security clearences were done beforehand ie before they offered him the job. This still does not get over the problem with his national insurance number. Anyway who cares about him anyway, I have yet to see any positive postings about him. BIN HIM. His character is an insult to the great acting of Trudie Goodwin. Its starting to make her character look a wee bit ridiculous too.

However the one I really want axed is the FDO Marilyn Chambers. The actress who playes her (can't remember her name) is awful. In fact she's nearly as bad as Corrie's Kate Ford & that's saying something!!!

Yes, he would.

Apart from Todd Carty No-one is as bad as Tracyluv - kate ford

And another thing about the apeman, when he joined the Met he would have had to swear an oath of office, so if he did this as Gabriel he would be committing a criminal offence. June should report him now. The longer it goes on the more people he will drag down with him for aiding and abeting. THe only thing we can hope for that he meets a very nasty end sooner rather than later. In all the television programmes I watch I cant think of a worse character so badly acted and so unrealistic as Gabriel. Thank god for videos and fast forward buttons. GO APEMAN GO

Even th inland revenue would think something amiss if they got too sets of money in from two sets of employers for the same person. I think the other brother was working abroad in which case he would have informed the revenue.

Yes - it's hard to see where Gabriel can go from here. He should be axed before the situation gets any more ridiculous.
